Forte dei Marmi is perfectly located, easily reached from Tuscany’s main transport hubs. Still, it’s helpful to know your best options before you travel.

Here are La Pineta al Mare’s tips for a smooth arrival in Versilia.

By Plane: Pisa or Florence?

One of the most common questions from our international guests is: “Which airport should we fly into?”

• Pisa Airport (PSA): The most convenient choice, just 35–40 minutes by car from our hotel. A well-connected international airport with flights from major European cities.
• Florence Airport (FLR): About 1 hour and 15 minutes away. A great alternative if you’d like to spend a few days exploring an art city before heading to the coast.

Hotel Tip: Skip the taxi lines and avoid hauling luggage onto trains. Contact us when you book—we can arrange a private transfer with a driver to meet you at arrivals and take you straight to the hotel lobby.

By Train: “Forte dei Marmi-Seravezza-Querceta” Station

If you love traveling by rail, this is your station. Keep in mind it’s about 3.5 km from the beaches and hotels, so a taxi is recommended. Letting us know your arrival time helps us make your check-in as smooth as possible.

By Car: Heading to the Sea

For those who enjoy the freedom of driving, take the Versilia exit on the A12 (Genoa–Livorno). Driving to Forte is a pleasure—wide streets lined with shady pine trees and public parking available around the hotel.
